Blank Product Templates for Graphic Designers | Outlaw Design Blog – A Graphic Design Blog

I must have spent hours searching the web for blank product templates such as book covers, DVD cases, billboards, boxes, etc. In all those hours searching the web for blank product templates I never came across a resourceful site. Thatâ€™s where this post comes into play. Iâ€™m working on making a collection of blank product templates for graphic designers. From free resources to ones you have to purchase, Iâ€™m going to list as many as I can find.

Blog Templates

There’s a site, WordPress Styles, that indexes templates for WordPress, the system I’m currently using to manage this site.

The cool thing is that they’re “plug ‘n play”. You just install the files and automagically your blog has a different look, no customization needed. Also, the styles listed are all beautiful and useable.

Anyway, a while ago, I thought I might make a new style for this site but the result wasn’t really “me.” So Tourquoise and Type have been added to the collection. Check them out and tell me how pretty they are

Sometimes you agonize forever over a template and sometimes they just create themselves. British Colonial just sortof popped out yesterday as is. The name is explained on the page.

I’ve just been really busy. I do have a new template for you though, it’s Nice and Clean. It’s my first fixed layout and I’m pretty pleased with the result. There are definite advantages to that style. I’m not ready to give up liquid though. The inspiration sites are linked in the top navigation bar.

Frozen Winter

New template. The one I’ve been working on for a while. It does have hacks (which I usually avoid) to make it work ok in both versions of IE. So you might want to use Mozilla to see the pretty roleovers.

Deep something

Since the layout I’ve been working on still isn’t “quite” done I’m posting one I did a while ago as a brain exercise playing with margins and positioning. It’s called Deep Red for some reason.

Fall Leaf is a new template. It’s a nice colorful one for an opening page.

Expanse of Space

Long time, no post. Too much life, too little inspiration. Expanse of Space is a new layout that, of all things, works in Moz, IE Mac, and IE6 and has a bug in Safari. Wierd. I’ve decided to go ahead and post it since Safari only messes it up a little.

It’s amazing how one layout comes together in 2 days (Clang) and another takes 2 months (Harlequin).
