Too busy to blog
When I have time to blog, I have nothing to say. When I have stuff to talk about, I have no time. Tanya woke me up a 3 Friday morning to take her to the ER because she had serious pain and nauseau. I having no clue how serious this could be, wasn’t too worried and complied. We got out at 5:30, diagnosis - just her concussion. They drugged her, we came home and went back to bed. Later the idiot insists on coming with me to Knoxville to get my iPhone. *author does inner tap dance* So that’s 6 hours sitting in the car and wheelchair and while she loves hers too, she wonders why she’s so sore today.
How sore?
She had to call me on my phone to wake me up to get her something to take her pain meds with.
That’s things here. We’re playing with our new toys to take our minds off our pain.
But they’re really goooood toys.

Ah Tanya
She goes to Georgia to meet her family for a couple of days. Falls off a horse and breaks her ankle. Then calls me from Walmart where they’re shopping high as a kite on meds and plans to drive herself back home the next day.
It’s all just so her.

Dog and Cat Food Recall
Menu Foods has issued a recall of over one hundred pet foods for both dogs and cats–largely cutlets in gravy type food. Animals are suffering from organ failure and even dying from the contaminated food. Dozens of brands like Iams and Eukanuba are included. If you have a pet, check the recall website to make sure that you’re not poisoning him or her.

Saturday
Went out to dinner and a bar with Tanya Saturday night. Dinner at Red Lobster was good. The funniest part was when a server came in through the front door carrying a couple of pizzas back to the kitchen.
The bar was … a bar. The music was so loud you couldn’t hear anything (I had to unclench my teeth), the smoke was thick (I’m allergic), and the tvs were tuned to sports channels. I was really bored.

Tanya and I are talking about Christmas presents at dinner tonight.
T: Is it bad that I’m thinking about getting you a present with an ulterior motive?
L: Is it worse that I’m thinking the same thing?

L: Now I have to know. What is it?
T:Doctor Who - The Complete First Series
L: That’s what I was going to get you!
We both break down giggling.
And start to talk at the same time.
L: So you get me the first season and I’ll get you the second.
T: That was what I was going to say.
We both break down giggling again.
Later.
T: Now if Torchwood was out in the US…
L: … We would each be getting our own.
We’re spending waaaay too much time together. The world may be in trouble.
