Doll Maker
eLouai’s Candybar Doll Maker is pretty much what it sounds like, but much more addictive. I started playing with it this afternoon and lost about 4 hours before I realized it. I’ll post some screenshots later.

The Batman Begins trailor is cool. It looks sortof like they’re scrapping all of the previous movies and starting from the beginning with a different, less cartoony, direction. Actually, it felt a little like “Tomb Raider.” I think the comic fans will be happier with this one than the others.

I have a DVR. My VCR never worked right with my new tv so this is the first time I’ve been able to record since I moved. And I get BBC!
Overall, it’s good. But the guide people have serious usability issues. There are almost 1000 channels and I’m only interested in what’s showing on [...]
Quu managed to create a LiveJournal feed for this site so all of you LJers can add me to your friends list for automatic updates.
An Analysis of MMOG Subscription Growth is a chart showing the growth of MMOGs (Massive Multiplayer Online Games). It’s interesting for comparison. I’d like to see how City of Heroes matches up since it was such a success at the 4th party.
And later the same afternoon, it is now bright and sunny outside.
If you don’t like the weather, wait 10 minutes.
It is noon and pitch black outside. The weather forcast is for moderate to severe thunderstorms but it looks closer to tornado conditions.
The rain just started. From drops to sheets of water in the blink of an eye. The back of the building has huge windows so I’m getting a pretty good view. You [...]
I was driving home flipping through radio stations when I heard the guys on Rock 103 (Classic Rock) talking about Manga. There’s just something so wrong in that.
In other news, We’re getting DVRs next Tuesday and I redesigned my other site. Let me know what you think.
I don’t think I’ve slept a full night since I got back from Atlanta. Last night I slept for an hour before I woke up and I was never able to get back to sleep. Unfortunately, half my department is off today for various reasons so calling in sick wasn’t an option. I get off [...]
Dori Smith posted the best Mac response I’ve heard yet.
yes, Macs can initially cost more out of pocket. But I’ve spent no time and no money this year worrying abut adware, spybots, and/or virii. What’s your time worth?
I’m bookmarking it here so I can find it later.
Atlanta was… hot. Very hot. And humid. Very humid.
Most of the weekend was spent gaming, mainly City of Heros. I even tried it for a bit. It’s cool how much you can customize the look of your character. Screenshots are below. One thing that bugged me was the screwy proportions. I mean, doesn’t [...]
We got to Hotlanta ok. Very hot and tired. Terri took the quiz too and wound up as an Evil Genius too.
hehehe
Well crud! I was gearing up to apply for the webmaster job at the library where I work but now there’s a hiring freeze so it’s not going to be filled for a while.
I don’t really want to stay here that badly but the job would have given me professional-level experience and some space [...]
