I finally had time and energy this weekend to get creative. There’s a new layout up, Picture Row Portal. Have you seen those portals out now that have the row of pictures across the middle of the page as links to the different areas of the site? I saw one on Sunday and got inspired. As always, it’s valid XHTML strict and CSS. It looks the same in Netscape and IE on both a Mac and a PC. The graphics I used are transparent so that the background colors can change using CSS.

Progress

Woohoo!

I’m doing good with my schoolwork (I won’t say ahead to keep from jinxing it.)

My room’s actually clean, unless you nickpick (which I’m NOT! :wink)

I’ve finally got a window treatment covering the old off-white blinds on my window (remember, I moved in August).

I’m on spring break, so no classes this week.

And I’m very happy with my new PowerBook. Enough so that I may not even faint when the credit card bill shows up. :biggrin

Plus I’ve finally gotten to watch the Dune miniseries and the Children of Dune. Debra was right, the Dune series wasn’t very good. I think it was the director since some of the same actors have been in Children and they aren’t as flat. There has also been some places where I haven’t quite known what was going on and I feel as if I missed something. Could be bad editing or an off screenplay.
